I thought Drago would at least get a tryout with an NFL team. How many punters would dare to call a fake punt from their own 6 yard line? SFA left one of the gunners on the punt team uncovered and I assume they used some sort of hand signal to call a pass play to the gunner. From the box score:
88-M. Dragosavich pass complete to 5-John Richardson for 47 yards to the SFA44, 1ST DOWN NDSU

Was the the game that he went to the press conference with a bag of ice on his throwing shoulder? That was epic.

I believe Drago did get a tryout with the Patriots.

Is the Great west officially done and gone? or are they going to hang onto the GWC for the coast to coast schools?

BTW

The Great West continues its proud tradition in football and has been rated as one of the best in Football Championship Subdivision. The league boasted wins over FBS teams the last five years, with victories over Ball State, San Diego State, Central Michigan, San Jose State and Minnesota. UC Davis put the Great West on the map early in the 2005 season with a win over Stanford in what media observers believed to be the biggest upset of the 2005 college football season.

3 of those babies are ours!!!!

Did we not beat two of these teams in the same year, thus making it impossible to have victories over FBS teams the past five years?

Poly had 10 guys on there. Back in the day Poly was actually good. In the last couple of years the whole conference was a crap bomb.
