I had my then 9 year old at Gastro Pub last season for the Bison-Gopher basketball game. I beleive there are certain sectinos of the place that are kid friendly and certain sections that aren't.

I think the front section of the place on the lower part of the building is ok for kids. There were a few there for the Western Ill. game that I remember seeing. Not sure about the private rooms thou

To any GSU fans, Gastropub is set back off of 32nd in a more residential area and can be a little difficult to find. From i-29 go west on 32nd and take a left on 43rd st. You will see it on the left after about a block or so. My brother (bisoninhuskerland) and I are going to try and make it.

Maybe babysitting is the wrong term but it is my night to watch my twin boys while my wife is at work. I'm not "babysitting" in the sense that i'm watching other people's kids.

For those that haven't been there, it's just beyond(to the west of) the medium-large water tower on the south side of 32nd Ave. It's a nondescript, tan metal building with a smallish sign out front. The full name is Fargo Billiards and Gastropub. There will probably be lots of cars there, but don't let that worry you; the building is far bigger than it looks from the outside. Call it a TARDIS.

There is a family area in front next to the kitchen. The viewing party will be in one of the private rooms beyond the bar area. The area is 21+, but they have made exceptions for very young children(5 and under). Check with the staff before you go back.
