Looks like Ojuri is sitting at 1001 yards
DJ is at 925

whats the last time we had 2 guys go over the 1000 mark?

Ojuri has been huge giving DJ a break with injuries.

Bohl was correct when he said having 2 guys is huge. DJ is still fresh despite playing receiver, kick, and punt returner.

I can't answer your question (too lazy to look up the answer).

NDSU is blessed to have so much talent at RB. Even so, I feel like Ojuri's and McNorton's abilities have not been fully utilized and I'd like to see them both in the game simultaneously occasionally as that would create confusion for the opposition. Right now, it's fairly obvious who's getting the ball.

Not sure that there is a last time (officially) because post-season games weren't included in season/career totals.

Unofficially, I have Simdorn at 1,161 and Satter at 1,633 in 1990 (the media guide has them down for 776 and 1014.)
In 1989, Simdorn rushed for 1,103* and Satter for 1,167 including their two playoff games.
In 1988, Simdorn rushed for 1,633 and Satter for 1,072* including their four playoff games.

I think those years were the only times in NDSU history that the Bison have had two 1,000 yard rushers.

* Incomplete data since in each instance, they didn't make the box score with their total rushing yards even though they had rushing yardage.

You're talking about deception...what's that for?...http://www.pic4ever.com/images/157fs837411.gif

NDSU had THREE thousand yard rushers in 1988 through the national championship run....

Doug Lloyd - 1,377
Chris Simdorn - 1,547
Tony Satter - 1,107

Every time I see this...it's amazes me.

Sam is the hammer in this championship year.

Isn't Ojuri at 978 and DJ at 887? According to gobison stats for the year.

Nice find! Also, I double-checked and your number for Simdorn is right for 1988 so I'll go back and change my original post.

You got me to recheck 1990 because I was wondering if Sieh cracked 1000 but according to the 1991 media guide he had 938 including the playoffs... so close.

Derrick Lang will be around. Matt Jones from Arizona is redshirting this year too. Adding in Sigers would be interesting. Seem a little thin back there.

Ojuri, Lang, and Jones are the returning RBs. John Crockett could be a game changer if he is eligible--and I am hearing that people in the program are optimistic. Not sure about Sigers.

I really liked Sigers...I hope he makes it back and also gets his degree. I really would like to see him and Ryan Smith on my flag football team, if I had one. We'd be decent.

We should be fine...Sigers, Ojuri, Lang, Jones, Crockett...add in the surprise guy who worked his ass off and we'll be set.
