If you disagree with a referee's call, thowing your pretzel or shoe onto the field isn't going to change the call. Please keep your pretzels in your mouth and your shoes on your feet. Keep your pretzel shoes in either location, but not on the field.

The referee almost took out the photographer's leg with the pretzel. Near miss.

From the south endzone, a pretzel and a shoe were both thrown on the field during the game.

South end zone:
After the pass interference call, a prezel was thrown on the field. The next questionable call against the Bizon resulted in somebody's shoe being thrown on the turf.

And one of the Duke reporter people was standing next to it and pointing at it, no doubt trying to pull a flag for crowd interference or whatever the call would be.

Who throws a shoe? Honestly?

I saw the shoe as well....from where I was it looked like it came from the student section. A ball boy picked it up. Glad we did not get flagged for it would have pissed me off big time had that happened and I may have gone looking for the idiot that did it.

Had to be from a hockey player anticipating his walk home.

The guilty party was escorted from the building.

I was sitting next to the band about ten rows up from the concourse entrance. Both came from below and to the east of me. I'm not sure if that is student or reserved end zone.......

The student section has started a game where they toss those foam footballs Bresciani throws into the crowd pre-game between themselves, from top to bottom and from south student section to west student section. I've been telling folks that if they end up on the field, particularly in the playoffs, that we are boned and got some cold shoulders the time I wouldn't throw them back when they ended up on the sidelines. Really, really, really hope that something like that doesn't end up costing us 15 at a bad spot in the game.

Can't think of any rules that would involve a flag here. This is a game management and police issue which is worse for the idiot who did it.

I was in first row and saw it wasn't just a shoe...but a BOWLING shoe.

Obviously those are expendable lol.

The guilty party (I thought I caught a glimpse of a missing shoe on his feet) proclaimed his innocence but ultimately ended up ejected to the cheers of the student section.

love the passion, would like to see more of this. This is the playoffs, win or go home, time to up the intimidation factor! Ref has never thrown a flag for something like this.

NEVER give the refs a reason to think they can rule on something.

Heh, pretty sure I've meet the guy that through his shoe. Austin Powers instantly jumped into my head. And yes, security found him and took him out.

On a side note, I'm glad they kick people out of play-off games for throwing things on the field, but making eye contact with a security guard who's staring you down? That I can't understand ;)

Depends on the kind of eye contact. I gave him the stink eye all game yesterday but all I got was his phone number. You shouldn't have given him the come hither look--apparently that's what makes him mad.

The new Endzone at Montana State doesn't have a net behind the goal post so when a FG or an extra point is kicked the ball ends up in the student section and of course the ball is always throwin at a ref that's not looking. One got hit in the side yesterday and one dam near got hit in the head. We obviously couldn't get penalized for this cause it very well could be an "accident".
