Teammakers will have a 50/50 raffle at the playoff game tomorrow (and future playoff games). NCAA frowns on gambling so there are some changes this week:

Raffle tickets will be sold in the tailgating lot as usual.
Raffle tickets CANNOT be sold inside the arena.
Raffle tickets will be sold in the east Fargodome lobby and outside on the sidewalk on the west side of the dome.
The PA announcer will not read the winning number.
The winning number will be displayed in the 3rd quarter on the video screens.
The winner can claim their prize in the east lobby.
The winning numbers will also be displayed in the east lobby and outside of the west side of the dome after the game.

The NCAA is like the Minnesota, the State where nothing is allowed. Myself and the tailgaters of Da Bison Ranch will have to pool our money together prior to the game. Is the winning ticket going to be green or yellow this week?

This raffle has become huge - not only for the winners, but for Teammakers. I'm guessing they have made enough this season to pay for about 4 full scholarships.

I just sent a copy of the first post and the thread title to the NCAA to figure out if this ok to do. I did it so you wouldn't need too. I guess it goes right to the office of the President. I am glad I could help.

I work in gaming and know some of the team makers people and they've told me that they are breaking records left and right for the 50/50 raffle. I mean...wasn't it nearly 12,000 for the UNI game? Wowza!

$4000 in cash(limited by ND state law) and the rest in gift cards selected by the winner, I believe.

So, the mighty NCAA, the ones who smote down the mighty warriors to north, plans to bear their might on our fine institution as well??? I say: (1) don't purchase any NCAA shirts/items (shirts suck shi?? anyway); (2) don't purchase any NCAA programs (well all know who's in there, they fill it with worthless shit?? anway); and (3) SUPPORT NDSU SPORTS BUYING PUTTING A $20 SPOT DOWN ON SOME RAFFLE TICKETS.

Was there a winner yesterday? I forgot to look for the winning number in the 3rd quarter and when leaving the game.

Wondering if I'm sitting on a winning ticket. yeah right... but... :praying:

I noticed that the Shooting Start advertisements in the SE corner of the dome were covered up. I am guessing because of NCAA rules.

The number was up for the entire halftime(with a couple short breaks for other scores). They didn't show the dollar amount, though. Anyone know that?

And Shooting Star ads were covered up everywhere. The most obvious was the one over the SE video board, but the one on the NE stats board was also blocked out, and half of those square fabric panels hanging in the SE corner were lowered and replaced with generic Fargodome ones.
