ESPN had decided to hold the FCS playoffs hostage....that's why.

As I understand it NCAA has an exclusive deal with the four letter so its up to the WWL to decide what games they're going to put on what outlets and whether they want to sell local rights.

What's this "ESPN 3" that I keep hearing about? Is the game on the internet anywhere for free?

I think Bison56 is PL's other log in, better bust him.

I was told by some friends in the athletic department. That Cableone only recieved 3 calls on interest on the NDSU-JMU games. Bombard Cableone with calls if anything it will help for future games..

One would think that with JMU as one of the teams, ESPN would definitely want to televise the game! The Dukes have provided ESPN with some highlights through the years in 1AA playoff games. D.D.Boxley's fingertip catch against W & M in 2004 on route to the National Championship, Drew Dudzik's helicopter effort against Montana in 2008 just name a couple. Avoiding the turf monsters in the National Championship game at Chattanooga against Montana. ESPN likes us!

They are lying and doing damage control. I have 5 people in my family alone that called. That Scott Geston guy said the same thing about the Bison Gophers game back in 2007. He has this random number of 3 he likes to pull out. He said the same thing about the Twins games. Three people called. He thinks nobody cares. Last time there was an issue with DirecTV, people just cancelled.

I was planning on sitting down by the radio with a big glass of Ovaltine.

I hope the game doesn't go past its allotted time, I don't want to miss the beginning of "Little Orphan Annie." Just got my decoder ring in the mail.

Perhaps the ND legislature could pass a law requiring it to be on televised. They've already legislated some great things.

Wait, don't we need to sue somebody first? I'm really not good at this kind of thing.

Actually I believe that would be a press conference to announce that we have decided not to be on TV and that we have turned down a four year contract of some sort.

Should we start assembling and secretly funding a committee of some sort? Perhaps for understanding and respect or something to that effect? We need this effort to look legit.

It's all a big power play to entice more cable providers to pony up the money for espn3 access and pad the bottom line of ABC/Disney/ESPN.
