This is a good point. 10-1 is better than I expected also. Take the week off, get rested, and be ready to rock the Dome!

Congrats on the CO-championship Bison. Let the CO part be a reminder how sloppy you can play (like last 2 games) and in the playoffs there is no room for that crap. This is exactly what I was trying to get at. "Because that's the way it has always been" is not sound logic. There is absolutely no logical reason for a co-champion situation if the two teams have played each other.

There is no logic and I would say the same thing if I was on the other end. It was decided on the field. End of story.

I guess because Im kind of an old timer I accept this as the way its always been. Never heard of anyone winning a conference championship because they beat another team head to head! But, the great thing that I love about FCS is playoffs! There will be no co-national champion!

Amen to this. I don't like it, but we have bigger and better things to strive for now.

Sidenote: This is our first D1 conference title in a LEGIT conference. Proud of our guys, let's keep it rolling!

I agree...it's no big deal about the co-champions thing. In a year or two we're gonna feel pretty good about this banner. There will be more on the way.

As others have written...it's about setting yourself up for the playoffs. Mission basically accomplished.

The Bison community appears to have a monstrous playoff game coming to town. Hope that all works out. It will be very loud...very.

I envy those of you who will get to see it in person.

Looking back through your schedule/results, your team pretty much steamrolled through the schedule, save for SIU and YSU. I didn't realize just how many points NDSU had put up this year. Well done.

While I agree with what you wrote here...YSU wasn't an average team when they visited. I know that we played below our usual level...but I thought that they were pretty damned salty. I liked their QB, one or two big receivers, and a couple of backs. They are one of the teams of the future...IMO.
