At least the AD has his back after giving him the schedule from hell but to say the least MSU fans aren't happy....

Moats: Allen will return as football coach

There will not be a football-coaching change at Missouri State, despite a rough season for Terry Allen.

MSU athletic director Kyle Moats said Tuesday night that he expects Allen to return for a seventh season. The 1-9 Bears finish this season Saturday at Youngstown State.

“Absolutely,” Moats said at halftime of the Bears’ basketball game in Jonesboro, Ark., against Arkansas State.

“At the end of the year we’ll sit down and get this figured out,” Moats said. “We’ll discuss every facet of the program and how to get it better.”

Allen is 24-41 in six seasons at MSU and 119-100 in 19 seasons overall as a college head coach.

His contract runs through 2014 with a base salary of $104,499 per season with a two-year buyout.

How does that buyout stack up against other FCS coaches?
