Brittany was Dani's teammate and played for Manitoba's teams in the national tourneys for three straight years.

welcome Brittany.
Now we need another 6'2" or over talented post player. With Birkel returning, I don't know that we have enough schollies unless Lako is a walk-on.

Curious about Lako, she is not on the roster, and I was pretty sure she did not participate at Midnight Madness, but just checked and definitely not on the roster.

Lako was a walk-on last season.

Lako was a walk-on last season.
I guess with a full roster of players she must have chosen not to return then. I know after the season last year Coach had said she hoped that Lako would
return as a walkon, I think that was after someone posed a question if she would get a scholarship or not.
Goo Luck to her, and thanks for be there last year.

Wiebe is likely to be our first redshirt under Dehoff. That is a problem...

That it's taken this long to be able to redshirt and try to build depth?

I'm pretty sure his message is that with 15 scholarships available, plus generally 2 walkons, we should have had redshirts from year 1, not year 4.

I don't think redshirting is all that common in the women's game unless for an injury. Not to say it might not be helpful, but I don't think coaches plan on using it as, say Miles did with the men's program a few year's back.

OK.....initially they reference her going to the University of North Dakota, but here's a video on Brittany Weibe. She's working out with a trainer to help with her transition to the Bison.
