I work in gaming in Fargo and i have never heard of it being that large. Too bad i didn't win. I told the ticket sellers i'd tip them 1000 bucks but they still didn't call my number...:(

Guru, I guess I should have gone in the raffle with you guys when you asked me. I do have a video of you winning, although the quality is a little low. Too bad they announced you guys on the opposite endzone.

You get to choose between Best Buy, Scheels, and Petro. We only received $600 dollars cash and about $9000 in gift cards. You can choose the amounts to the three different places

Since they already take out taxes, what is the reason for giving out gift cards and not cash?

They only can hand out a total of $4000 dollars legally, Simmers told us they never thought they would have to worry about the prize being over $4000 but look at it now. They might have to take another look at that!

The $4000 cash is a state law. They attempted to get it changed last spring, but apparently the lottery people think it cuts into their business so it didn't pass.
