Dumb question...but are these stats just from conference games?

Nope, national stats = all games*. Conference stats = only conference games.

* Although I think D2, D3, and NAIA games should be excluded from DI stats.

It'd be interesting to see how far Brock moves up in efficiency after starting the game 15 for 15.

Look at the time/date of his post... NDSU was 3rd before they went to soft zone to keep MSU from getting the big play (didn't work, btw.)

Kind of cool that NDSU and UNI are #1 and #2 in scoring defense.

I have to say that I didn't see this coming after watching last year. It is very nice to have consistent QB play.

It can all still come tumbling down. Ill reserve a majority of my judgement till after the season. He has looked pretty good except against SIU(I do give him a break for being sick though).

How is your kicker doing this year? Our game might be about fieldgoals.

A battle between the #1 & #2 scoring defenses in the country could come down to kicking and punting.
