Although I don't think Lafayette is really a bad team, it should be noted that Penn has yet to play a game this year so even though they were receiving votes in polls and picked to win their league, it really might not be an indication of how good they really are since people were giving them votes based on last years results for the most part.

I know but I've heard over and over and over about how terrible our non-conference opponents are. Lafayette going into Penn and beating the back to back Ivy League champ 37-12 kind of sends a statement that maybe the teams we played weren't so terrible afterall.

Still not sure what to think of YSU.......it appears that all the new players are at least meshing a little bit, and they have the talent if they can pull it all together to make a little noise......Still probably 4th or 5th best in the MVFC after UNI, SU, SIU and maybe InSU. Should be interesting to see how the year plays out.....
