The quantity and price of Gopher tickets are starting to drop dramatically... clearly they were being overpriced initially and supply and demand is starting to catch up...

Thought I'd spread the word because I know some folks out here weren't willing to spend $200 per seat.

Honestly, at this point I'd wait a week or two. Not until the day of, but certainly the week of. Stub hub has 700 seats according to a search from a few minutes ago. I find it hard to believe that 700 Bison fans are still on the fence about this, so it stands to reason that prices have room to fall on the better seats which are listed at 150+ right now. I don't think 78 is a bad number (please keep in mind if you are new to stubhub that you will pay a fee for each ticket above the listed price), but I think your $78 goes further 4-5 days before the game.

I'm waiting for the last minute... won't buy tickets until the week of. Kind of a gamble since I'll be looking for ~20 tickets but, hey, if I can't get them, we'll watch the game on TV and grill.

That's also what I'm doing but I only need 4 tickets. If it's a nice enough day I'd be happy to stay in the tailgate lot. Will have a 42 inch plasma and plenty of food and drink. But if we can score sweet seats for a bargain we'll do it. Something tells me that waiting until 5-10 minutes into the game will allow me to get some tickets on clearance special.

the secondary market is flooded with tix. all you have to do is wait until about 2 or 3 days before the game, and the brokers will unload the tix at low, low, low prices. wait it out people, the brokers will flinch. they always do.

I have one extra I'll probably put on craigslist. Not sure who would want one ticket though. Probably a lone lonely loaner.

Got ours early, but we'll need binoculars. Here's my irrelevant contribution for today, list of programs by football ticket revenue (don't know why we're not included).

I hope these scalpers get left with a shit load of tickets because you can buy end zone seats now smack dab in the middle of the endzone for only $50 and right on the 50 yardline for only $70. Currently there are over 800 on Stub Hub alone and 1800 on fansnap.

No excuse for NDSU fans not to go to the game. Plenty of reasonably priced tickets available (at least there are now).

Here's the deal, the buzz around the game, in the paper etc. Was done when the tickets were $$$$ now that they have dropped no one is even gonna consider looking unless they are a diehard, which would probably already have tickets.

If the forum did a story about how the price of tickets have dropped via resellers, it would probably help to sell alot of them. But they won't so this game wont sell the remaining 2k tickets.
