19-18 now since the NCAA approved us for DI. Kinda sad that we had to go 12-6 in our last 18 games in order to actually get back above .500. We only had a 7-12 record in full DI around Halloween in 2009. We went thru a 1-8 stretch from the Marker game of 2008 until the end of October 2009. Hopefully that kind of thing is long in the past.

Interesting stats.........never really thought much about it. I guess many of us think of DI as including the Walker years. Oh well, we just need a bunch of 0, 1, and 2 loss seasons to further improve. That is OK with me!

Even if we go 9-2/8-3 for the most part in the future, that will help increase our post-2007 winning pct. significantly. The tough thing will be winning most of our MVFC games.

With a sampling size of just a year or three it's not all that huge, and a single game can swing it significantly. Give it a decade and that 1-8 will be pennies.

Either way, cool deal!

Keep scheduling the non-scholly counters and .500 in MVC play should get you in the playoffs.

We have never played a non-scholarship team while being a member of DI. We have only played one since our move up, Valpo and it was during transition.

Lafayette was non scholarship.

Unless you are trying to count need based aid as a scholarship.

We will win a national title in the FCS before SIU. Nice try though. Fail lennon will sink your ship.

Lafayette fans made it sound like they had quite a decent number of scholarships with the need based aid thing that they use....not as many as we do by any means, but Minnesota and Central Michigan had more than us and we beat them anyway.

They aren't really non-scholarship....This is from a Lehigh fan....

The PL league are neither non-scholarship or scholarship, they're a hybrid. The IL is basically the same way. The difference is some of the schools, like Harvard, offer their own financial packages.

Supposedly Lehigh, Fordham and Colgate are FBS bowl counters, which means they have 56.7 or more equivalencies.

Too late. Nice try though.

Make your goals a little more incremental, two six, like finishing above .500 in MVC play. After you do that consider challenging for the conference crown, then maybe start thinking about your impossible dream.

How many D-I scholly's does Quincy University have? What exactly do they count for?

That's OK. I'll wait for your reply.

Of course he is angry, he has Dale Lennon as their head coach. We miss Jerry Kill signs everywhere.

That also happens to be Bohl's record with his recruits.

He had a winning record with his recruits after the Montana State game last year, but then it evened up after he/we/the Bison got jobbed at EWU.

My predicition is that he will have a winning record with his recruits from here on out :)

According to the NAACP that is now a racist slogan. Look For NCAA to get in to the act soon.
