Gotta worry a little about Minny using play action and going over the top. Lafayette made it look easy on that 2nd and 1 play. It was a terrific fake, but still.....definately something to work on defensively.

All in all, great game for the Bison. Brock looked sharp, certainly improved from last season, and the defense doesn't look to lose any ground from last year. Really impressed, and really optimistic about our potential this season.

Things I rose my eyebrows at tonight: early on, the short passing game looked a bit shaky, but Brock obviously got more comfortable as the game went on. Still, air-mailing that one over Smith was tough to watch. Blocking from the TE's looked sketchy and was part of the reason the running game wasn't able to take off early. Still not too high on our team not scoring in the first quarter, going three-and-out on the first drive needs to get corrected. Punting game a question mark. Aside form that, a very solid performance all-around.

I could not get into the Bison all access on Audio at all.
I got in once on video but it was terrible.

Thank God that Lafayette had a wonderful stream.

Whatever they do someone from NDSU should pay attention.
