Being in SoCal it's hard for me to get too jacked yet...but I imagine when I see the first plays of the game on my computer I'll be as nuts as ever. My wife thinks it's crazy...but who cares? She calls it my 'good' obsession.
As the years go by, things change, and it's a little hard for me to watch it. I want this program to get back on its feet and be a consistent winner in the conference and to knock on the national championship door almost every year. I wanna beat UNI, SIU, and SDSU really bad. I want beating SDSU to become normal again.
I'd take back the 80s uniforms, with a few minor adjustments to make it more modern. Those uniforms (and colors) gave a feeling of hard-nosed dominance...pure class. Traditional...like some of the great NFL and NCAA programs.
I'd take an outdoor stadium. I'd take an option offense. But that's what I'm talking about. It has to evolve. We made good progress last year with a great run in the playoffs. Let's keep it going !!!!!!!
