Illinois State's Ashton Leggett (RB who had 200 total yards against us last season) is doing some work on Eastern Ill. Teams are tied at 12-12 in the 3rd, Leggett has 88 yards and a TD on 16 carries, 31 yds on 3 catches. Guy is going to be the keystone of what should be a sick offense this season. Interestingly, 2 of the 3 best offensive players on the Redbirds roster are transfers (Leggett from Mich. St., WR Marvon Sanders E. Mich.).

Late-game EDIT: ISU's defense looks like it's trending just as it did last season, allowed 3 TDs in the 4th quarter and are down 33-26 with 2:31 left in the game. QB Brown 17/26 for 190 yds, Leggett 97 yds 2 TDs.

Baylor vs. TCU was kinda lame :( no defense involved makes a game less epic. I hate when people love those super high scoring games. A perfect legendary matchup for me involves a 24-21 or a 21-17 type score. That way you get to see the offense earn points and the defense make stops.

Both are facts. Oregon just didn't look the part. Fumbles usually aren't as a result of the team you are playing, usually if you fumble, you fumble against good and bad teams. Tonight, that Oregon feller had a case of butterfingers. Standford rests on Andrew Luck, I trust him more than I trust Thomas and James from Oregon.
