North Dakota State University head football coach Craig Bohl introduced seniors, tight end Matt Veldman, linebacker Preston Evans, defensive end Coulter Boyer, free safety Daniel Eaves, offensive tackle Paul Cornick and running back D.J. McNorton as captains for 2011 with the full squad around prior to the start of Saturday's scrimmage.

Congrats to all six guys, well-earned and speaks well of the team's senior leadership this year. Could be a very special year if these guys can school the young'uns good.

Most of these are starters or backups that see significant action. Regarding some of those less evident to contribute: Anderson will likely see some time at OG as he did last year. If Perez can get healthy I think we will see him in the slot. Yaggie contributes on special teams. Among those who may not play a key roll, Hansen and Britt, but you never know.
