Great story. Almost reminds of Paschall and how he grew up so much at NDSU. You can tell DJ has grown up a lot...even in the last year or so. He is a GREAT Bison!

Goes to show you the difference between FCS college football and the BCS schools. Kids get some personal attention here, good competition, community involvement and an EDUCATION. What a novel idea for college athletics.

I was super critical of DJ when he started here, but I can say that he has impressed me with the way he carries himself on and OFF the field. He has turned out to be quite a Bison. I am proud of the program right now, seems we have turned a corner. I think alot of it has to do with more off field things than actually paying football. It's good to know kids can get a good education still at NDSU.

Awesome story, great read! That family loves their football, I actually had the privilege of talking with his dad for a couple hours when he was in Fargo last season. Great guy, lots of passion and knows the game well. I'm proud to have this man (no longer a kid) as a Bison. Now go break some more records DJ!
