Amy has advanced from the round of 64 to the Final 4 of this tourament. She beat some hot-shot golfer from Univ. of Nebraska in the third round. She plays another round today and if she wins, she advances to the championship tomorrow.

In talking to Shelly Weidner, a member of the Women's Trans Committee and who was in Sheridan for the tournament, Amy kind of lost the flat stick and didn't putt well in the semis and let it get away from her. A great performance, however. Yesterday, Nathan was involved in US Amateur qualifying at the FCC and Amy was his caddie. They said that the Open was a blast with all the support and all her relatives. Nathan said that the tour caddies treated him very well. Their father said to me that he has gotten a lot of thanks from northern coaches, thanking the family for keeping Amy up north. It helps them with their recruiting, that you don't have to go south to be successful. The family is leaving Friday for Rhode Island for the US Women's Amateur. Amy also was really pumped about the Women's Golf video.
