Idaho State will lose 2.98 scholarships and ban from playoffs

Jackson State - playoff ban, loss of 6.3 scholarships

Southern - playoff ban, loss of 1.67 scholarships

North Carolina A&T faced a postseason ban, but the NCAA granted it a conditional waiver for this coming year. Waivers generally include demonstrated academic improvement, active presidential involvement, meeting certain APR benchmarks and implementation of an APR improvement plan. The Aggies, however, can face historical penalties for poor academic performance over time.

Delaware State, 9 scholarships

Howard, 6.3 scholarships

Missouri State, 6.25 scholarships

Georgia Southern, 4.47 scholarships

Sam Houston State, 3.25 scholarships

Howard, 2.84 scholarships

Charleston Southern, 2.72 scholarships

Southeastern Louisiana, 1.69 scholarships

Weber State, 0.43 scholarships

Portland State, 0.29 scholarships

And we are way in the clear, 27 points above anything I think. We were something like 952 and 925 is the begining of the clear. All of that is a 4 year average aswell. So you could do pretty terribly and not move the number down that much.

UNDs APR was super high 972 I think so good for them.

Even though 952 seems like its close to 925, for some perspective realize that the highest numbers posted(including the ivy's) are under 1000.

Football Brown University RI 2009 - 2010 992
Football Columbia University-Barnard College NY 2009 - 2010 986
Football Cornell University NY 2009 - 2010 983
Football Dartmouth College NH 2009 - 2010 989
Football Harvard University MA 2009 - 2010 983
Football Princeton University NJ 2009 - 2010 986
Football University of Pennsylvania PA 2009 - 2010 995
Football Yale University CT 2009 - 2010 991

Now also realize there are teams in the high 700's...

That is strange. Their APR for 09-10 is 734 (down from 795 for 08-09). Why don't they have a post season ban and why must they lose so many scholarships?

Talking about Tx Southern I do believe.

1000 is a perfect score; you can't get more than that. A score of 952 means that a school has collected 95.2% of the possible points over the applicable time frame. UND has the benefit of not yet having four years of data. Depending on your first year or two, it can make you look very, very good or very, very bad(think NDSU wrestling after the mass exodus to Mankato our first year in DI). Things even out starting around year five.

The APR is calculated for each sport.

Leaving for a pro sport doesn't hurt a school's APR.

Wow Missouri State losing 6 1/2 scholarships is a big deal. That will hurts a recruiting class by losing 6 players who now have to walk on. Even losing 3 hurts. I don't feel bad for teams like georgia southern losing 4. Especially after they screwed us over

They could have an annual bowl game to make each other feel special

Only one Big Sky team had an APR over 940 - Northern Arizona (953.) Nice improvement by the Lumberjacks because I remember a time when their program was getting some pretty bad press.
