I think I have high expectations for what Amy can do and yet she continues to go beyond anything I can imagine.

I listened to that live lol I dunno that jack michaels fools prolly a great guy ect ect but I gotta laugh everytime he's got a female on there first of all whenever I tune in it seems like he's interviewing a chick and secondly I've kind of formed an opinion on him that he's a perv and this interview with amy when he finds out she's only 18 I was waiting for chris hanson to come in and cut him off scott hennan style lol I'm only joking but that radio show of his is so brutal ala dan hammer you just have to find a reason to make it even half way entertaining...but really I am just jacked to actually maybe be able to see her swing a club for once as fun as it has been following her for however long its been has anybody on bisonville ever actually seen her play?

has anybody on bisonville ever actually seen her play?

Not in person, but on TV I watched her kick some serious ass in the Junior Nationals a couple years ago (the match play portion).

What really impressed me was her demeanor -- so level-headed! By watching her you couldn't tell by her reaction if she hit a great shot or a bad shot (although that day, her bad shots were few and far between). She closed out the championship on hole 31, winning 6 and 5 (it was a 36-hole match).

I had a chance to play a few holes with Amy not too long ago and it was fun. She's 250 down the middle every time. She's so consistent with her driver and irons, but I guess you'd expect that from an USGA national champion.

Not only a great golfer, and a great student, but also she is very poised. She seemed very comfortable around a bunch of adults she had just met.

Amy will be a great spokesperson for NDSU for years to come!

Nice picture of Amy in the June 3 issue of GOLFWEEK. On page 22 in the scoreboard section her score at the Medina, MN sectional is listed as well as a nice 5"x4" picture. You can make out the bison logo on the hat clip ball marker. Sweet. I was on the FCC with her a couple weeks ago as some USGA officials were in town looking at the course as a future site for the USGA Jr Girl's, which Amy won in 2009. She almost made a hole in one on #7. She and her teammate, Sydnee Hasselberg had a nice match. They either tied or Sydnee won one up. Two very nice young ladies.

Dormie-

Amy birdied the Alt hole to beat Sydnee by one. Sydnee was pretty excited to keep it that close.

Fyi, I'm playing Medina tomorrow and have no chance of matching Amy's score. I'm going to try and keep it within 10.

Amy tees off at 9:01 (mdt) on hole #1 this thursday, and at 2:30 on #10. She is playing round one and two with a couple of young LPGA players; Jennifer Song, and Mina Harigae.
