OK, I opened my big mouth and will start a website to get some higher education funding facts out there.

First step is to get a domain name. Do NOT say what you want the domain name to be. You can PM me that if you want. I have one in mind already though.

Once I've got it registered, I run it by you guys.

However, the first decision point is this: .COM or .ORG?

you might want to set up as a non-profit.


I'm surprised that "fubismarck.org" is available.

I vote for ORG but you may want to snap up the COM as well to keep from having a site named the same as yours. You could have all the .COM traffic routed to the .ORG

I'd roll with both. Org is better but some will most likely be confused if it is anything but .com.

Get both, for an extra $7(adding the second domain) a year you can have one forward to the other. Problem solved.
