Hope they have some good video of Victa's catch.

If it would have been a Yankee making the catch, ESPN would have put it on their top 10 plays and showed it 134,786 times by now. She played it perfect, she went back and found the fence and timed her jump just right and saved what would have been a sure HR from SUU. Outstanding play and yes there should be very good video of it since the showed it several times on the web cast yesterday.

Yesterday on gobison was the first time I'd seen the bison play this year, although I follow the BB/SB teams game by game. I was really impressed with Ortega behind the dish defensively. Good player, two more years of Whitney and Ortega together will yield lots of wins.

Next year, if we can replace Rivera defensively (she's a rock) we will continue with our Summit domination. Victa has been a great bison also, I'm assuming that her sister will step in to lead. We are lucky that Darren is still here, any B1G school would be lucky to have him.

Good luck in the ncaa's ladies!

So they are saying the Bison are the 64th best team in the tournament? Sorry, I don't buy it. Bubba and his team play a tough schedule to start the year after practicing in the BSA during the winter months. Conference champs three years in a row, a sweet 16 bid and the NCAA still gives the Bison no respect. There's only one thing left to do, win the whole fuckin' thing.

Hmm... We're 114. Of the teams that are in the tournament,
Harvard is 82? and they're in the #8 AZ regional,
Western Michigan is 108 and we run-ruled them 12-4 in 6 and they end up in #10 Michigan's regional,
Iona is 131 and are in #9 Oklahoma,
Liberty is 134 and are in #14 Tennessee,
Albany 141 and visiting #13 Oregon,
158 Lehigh is in #11 Baylor,
153 Portland St. is with #12 WA,
180 Sacred Heart gets to visit #16 Tx A&M, and
186 is Bethune-Cookman and is in #4 FL regional.

Some additional notes: loss to San Diego St 2-3 (RPI 39), beat UCF 2-1 (RPI 95), beat Memphis 2-0 (RPI 43) and lose to Kentucky 4-5 in 8 (RPI 22). Of course, big losses to other top 25/top 50 RPI teams don't help (FL, UCLA, MO, GA account for 8 losses which are almost 1/3 of the total) .

It's always said that part of seeding is travel, so Western Michigan gets to go to Ann Arbor, and Portland St gets to go to Washington, and the Missouri regional has Indiana, Illinois St and DePaul, the GA regional is similar - all schools in the vicinity, etc. Others don't make sense... Auburn to WA, UCLA to FL. So yeah, travel might be a consideration; it seems that we could've remained closer to home.

In the end it seems like there's still no respect. We could have been placed in a friendlier regional. Yes... they're all tough, but there's a difference between, let's say top 1-4 vs 13-16, and we get #1 this year? (we got #3 last year I think). The committee could have been friendlier to us. Based on RPI and seeing what schools are in with comparable or lesser RPI we could've been placed against a 10-14... And this is our 3rd year in! I think that should deserve some consideration.

On a completely different subject there is nothing wrong with expressing disappointment in the failure of the officiating at a big game. It makes you objective not sore. To deny the officiating was a huge factor in the outcome of the NDSU BISON @ EWU game is to appear unaware.
