Gopher game tickets

I talked to 2 different people today in regards to tickets. MN only allocated NDSU something like 2000 tickets. So if you are going to go with ordering through NDSU you have to do it online and it starts Saturday. It will all depend on the amount of priority points a person has on weather you get your order filled or not.They will know by the end of May on who gets tickets and who doesnt so those that dont have time to go the stub hub route etc.

I'm thinking the best option will be to try and get them on Gophersports.com when they go on sale in July...If that doesn't work, however, I guess I am going to go the Stubhub route as well...Either way, the tickets should be way better than the allot given to NDSU by the U of M.

That is true, but this stadium fits the ole cliche that there isn't a bad seat because of how slanted the upper deck is and how small the stadium is. I sat in the visitor section for the OSU game there this year and was kind of shocked at how great the view was. Of course this is on top of paying face value for the game and sitting in a 100% Bison section.

I would pay that for this game. Sad thing is, that is more per ticket than I pay for season tickets in the Fargodome (section 9).

Exactly, when you want to go to a certain game and sit in a large group close to the field, you sometimes have to pay to play. And, I figure, since it is so cheap for me to go to the home games, why not spend a little on road games? I think we paid $85 for the 07 game, but I can't remember exactly.

This^^--teammaker priority points to be exact. So you could wait til late in the process, place your order, and still get selected over someone with less ppoints.

Nice! Good job! My coworkers who are Gopher ticket holders say it is best to be at least 5-10 rows up for a better view. I got mine in Section 209 for face value.

Considering the small amount of tickets allocated I am surprised they let people buy 10. Dont forget they have to hold out tickets for the players families etc.

Would've just made a big donation to the SHAC, but at this point there isn't a whole lot left to name. The "Herd Mentality Urinal Bank at the SHAC" just didn't seem very appealing. However if they would put a picture of me in front of each urinal pointing and laughing...we could make this happen.

I was surprised when I checked my e-mail and say an congratulations letter from NDSU!! FYI, for those of you who are pissed about the ticket process, I've only had my season tickets for 4 years, and am not a huge donor. I think I ranked around 1900 out of XXXX. Pumped about the tickets, and my two boy are super excited for their first "big time" (it's the gophers, hence the quotes) college game!!

I'm assuming we won't know our seats until the tickets are in our hands.

That is correct. However 101, 103, 105, 115, 117, 207, 214, 219 are located directly below or right next to those sections. Good spot to keep all the Bison fans together.
