Bad news for Ben woodside, especially with his contract up in Europe......a nba team coulda picked him up for league minimum avoiding buying out his contract...dammit, horrible luck.

It probably doesn't effect Woody much, if any, as he was not very interested in doing the whole summer league thing again anyways. Was looking forward to some time off and what new opps he would have overseas.

I can see that, last 2 summer leagues woody really tried.

NBA people would be more apt to look at woody this year without his contract being attached.
