Roadwarrior at least you know the importance of putting in the date. Many
NDSU media release forget that important fact. Thanks

Vince has a tough road at the NCAAs. In the 1st round he wrestles a Harvard guy then if he gets by him he wrestles the Iowa kid. The Big 10 champ (Penn State) is also in his bracket. Tough draw.

Good luck to Vince and Trent!!

Sprenkle got beat 4-3 to the 11 seed. Wrestled really hard though. Announcers had a lot of good things to say. Video of 4 mats on espn3.com

Trent Sprenkle's tour of the Ivy League appears to be finally over as he pinned Garrett Frey of Princeton in the first round of wrestlebacks, and he defeated Stephen Keith of Harvard, 10-5 in the 2nd round of wrestlebacks. After three Ivy League opponents in a row, Sprenkle now faces familiar foe Michael Martinez of Wyoming with the winner facing #7 ranked Ryan Mango of Stanford. Trent wins his these two matches, he will finish in the top 8 at 125.

Vince Salminen was defeated 17-3 by Frank Hickman of Bloomsburg in the first round of wrestlebacks and has been eliminated.

Good season Vince and good luck the rest of way Trent.

Awesome! Maybe it will come early for Trent. It'll be tough but regardless I think this tournament will be huge for Trent in the long run.

Trent was defeated by #5 Ryan Mango of Stanford by a score of 12-7. He is eliminated from the tournament, one win away from being an All-American. He finishes his season with a record of 32-11. Great season Trent and great season Vince.

NCAAs are on ESPN.

Some very good wrestlers. Bubba Jenkins (Arizona State) pinned the guy from Penn State that was undeafted and a freshman.

Reader (174) also looked good.

Holy cow is Penn State young!!

They will be the favorites for the team title for the next couple of yrs. Sanderson has really brought that program up to an elite level.

Kilgore (197 Kent State) looked like he was going to lose and took advantage of a bad move and stuck his guy......pretty fast pin call by the ref.

Hopefully we all see a Bison wrestler out there some day!!!
