Bonnie Neas, VP for information technology, is retiring.
She's also the Executive Director of ConnectND. I remember ConnectND being a complete disaster of a project. The old Chancellor (Potts) was constantly asking for millions more from NDSU students just to get it working - it was over-budget and didn't work.
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that Bonnie Neas was appointed Executive Director to fix the project. You know what? Once she was put on the job, stuff started working. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but I suspect that Neas is an unsung hero who probably saved each and every student at NDSU a couple hundred bucks.
