I watched this one online. I only purchased the single game.....so obviously I was not startled by this result. In the end, this edition of the Bison were young and lacked the depth to hang on in tough games and lacked the consitstency to win close ones. That being said, these guys are young and there is a lot to look forward to in the upcoming seasons. I will not at all be surprised to see the Herd in the Title Game next year and possibly going to the dance. This year it was not to be and we all knew that fairly early on.

We can beat u because you,re 5th In the conference and until you recuit an athletic wing/post player the streak will continue. Factor in losing moss next year, sdsu is in dire need of an athletic type player.

The over/under on dunks for sdsu next year is probably at 15 dunks.

I too will chime in and say that this young group of players the Bison now have can really be a power in the Summit for the forseable future.

Wright-He is a match up nightmare for any player in the Summit now. What will he be like in the future? He is a 6'6" wing player that many, many high major teams would die to have. Great recruiting by Bison coaches to bring him to NDSU. What impresses me most is this guy thinks he can shoot the ball. That is more than half the battle to being a good shooter which is just thinking that every time you shoot the ball it's going in the hole. This confidence is what will make this guy a super star. We can all see that around the basket he plays above almost anyone in the league. When you add the perimeter game, you have a guy to build the team around.

Braun-I would imagine that job #1 this off season will be for Taylor to put up a few hundred thousand shots to improve his perimeter game. Putting Braun opposite wing from Wright just adds to the nightmare opposing coaches will have to face in the future. Most teams in the Summit won't be able to put two 6'6" or above defenders on the wing that will be able to handle Braun and Wright off the dribble. Being able to knock down some outside shots just adds to the nightmare.

Bjorkland-What an asset and luxury the coaching staff has with Marshalls ability to score in the post. As we have seen, if he can score against Benson, there is no stopping him in the Summit for the next 3 years. Just needs a little more strenght to defend the post better and rebound better.

Put a true point guard with this nucleus of sophmores next year and watch out. It is going to be fun to watch.

agreed with blogger. i did expect more from this team this season but I like what we have in Trayvonn, Braun and Marshall. Hopefully we can get a few more guys to step up and help them out. I think those 3 will be something. We need somebody to step up at PG on both ends of the floor and be a difference maker. Hopefully Hale can contribute and be a facilitator on the perimeter that we need. Our frontcourt should be well established with Marshall, Aaberg, Trayvonn and Carlson, just need some guys to step up in the backcourt.
