They don't plan to from what I understand. The inkling I got was that they're just trying to get him practice time and don't intend to use him at all - for what it's worth, he didn't practice at all this week.

Also, imabison already mentioned it but Freddy tweaked his MCL in practice - zero structural damage, just some pain that he tried to play through but that got to him after a particularly nasty-looking toss on the floor. Saw some grimaces from him on the bench but the word is he's just fine and needs some bench time.

THIS^^^ Huge for the guys to be converting at the line tonight. We've heard all week about how the guys are pissed off and Tveidt came out and played like it. He took the game over after about the first 5 minutes or so and never looked back. This is what we are going to need out of him the rest of the way to have a chance. Bjorklund got in foul trouble so we didn't get to see him dominate, but Nagel was a beast tonight, good bball stats from him plus 1 KO, that's how you set a screen! Braun looked good, Tray was having his own dunk competition and we got to see the first alley-oop I've seen since one from Woody to Winks years back, was a fun game. Oh yeah and welcome back to the team Eric Carlson, awesome game, finally looked like the Carlson we have all seen before.

PHHHHTHTPHH I'd be happy with those highlights. Watched KX news last night in Bizzo and they had a 5 second clip of the game and the sports anchor pronounced Tviedt as "Twight." I sent him an email this morning correcting his mistake and asking him for more coverage.

Students for bball seem to be very much a bandwagon group. For all of you that are there every game cheerin you know that I'm not talkin about you and keep up the good work! But the casual student fans only want to go if it's the "cool" thing to do for the night and the team is winning. I think part of the problem is the lack of coverage of the product we are putting on the floor. There is not a news article, a TV highlight or anything else that makes our team seem exciting. When Woody and the guys were playin and we were upsetting top 25 teams it was exciting for the students to come out and watch that team. The commercials for the team are not all that exciting and it's just not a quality marketing job. Give me the files that are recorded for the replay board and I'll make a video that can get fans excited. Since our own local news decides that being at the game for 5 minutes constitutes covering the game maybe we need to take matters into our own hands. You get students video of the alley-oop and Trays other two dunks, Nagel giving a guy the beat down on a screen, Carlson's rainbow at the buzzer and Tveidt lighting it up and students will be less likely to want to miss that. Get some highlights posted on gobison.com or with Bison Illustrated's website and get the students excited about what they might see and we can start filling those seats.

I talked to two students yesterday that were not going because next week is the first week that tests are hitting. I know that took a few students away. You can say it is not a excuse but I was impressed that they had their priorities straight.

Now my comments on the game. It was great to watch Nagel just beat on guys last night. They came into the lane and he put his shoulder into them. They did it to him and he looked pissed and layed his body back into them even harder. He played like that was his lane and he was going to stake a claim and defend it. That screen was sweet. They guy ran into a brick wall and just got leveled and Nagel didn't even flinch just looked down at him like "Are you OK".

Tveidt, my oh my that was the Tveidt I am used to seeing. No hesitation he just came around the screen got the pass and bam down goes the shot. It was a thing of beauty.

Wright, you have to love those dunks and he does it with such ease. If we can get a little bit of Nagel in him so he doesn't get pushed around watch out. He is going to be fun to watch now and into the future.

Carlson's been playing through an ankle sprain the past few weeks, which had to contribute to his slump. He is getting healthy now and he is definitely playing better. Last night, he looked like the Carl of old!

Nagel's screen deserved a spot in a highlight real! I love his physical play and his attitude.

It was kind of funny, KC (the new website guy) meets me at the locker rooms as I'm heading back to KNDS to turn off the broadcast and says "I was getting some stuff, did I miss anything since the 7-minute mark?" He was distressed to learn he'd missed the alley-oop. That would've been sweet to see again.
