Don't know if we have the room or money but he'd be great as a qb coach. He's retiring now and lives in the Twin Cities.

He's from "that place downstream" though...

The Bollingers are notorious Bison haters. No way he'd ever take this job. Also, why would he be a great qb coach?

I talked to Rob in October at the BSU-UND hockey games and he is not a Bison hater, even though he coached at UND. I think he is just indifferent.

He is now at Bemidji State as the director of the Alumni Foundation.

However, getting Brooks to come to Fargo would be a huge stretch.

I hear Farve's retiring too. Should we go after him too?? Just because you are an NFL QB doesn't mean you'd be a good coach.

We should also recruit Jimmy K to coach tight ends...............

Why bother when we have a proven position coach who was a sound QB in college. Polasek needs to be the QB coach. I'm telling you it needs to be done.

And Just because someone was a third string TE at NDSU doesn't make them a great QB coach either.........

Years ago when Jim Wacker was HC, Ross Gjelseth was OQ. He either didn't play college football of had some connection with Mayville State. Ended up HC at Pacific Lutheran. Obvioulsy a great student of the game.

Now your talking! Could he coach TE's and also be the sports information director? He has a unique skill with the press.

He's still got plenty of work to do this season. No contact needs to be made for about 3 weeks or so :D
