I don't buy the nice guy act for one second. this was his way of saying, "ah jeez honey, I was just see how you were doing no big deal." If she doesn't turn him in he sends her a couple more nice messages, than next thing you know he's showing up and places where she is and then asking "who was that dude you were talking to?".
