I just read the hard copy, before seeing this and thought the same thing.

Boo Forum.

Every time they do something to make me want to renew they do 10 dumb things like this.

Seeing as Mallory Youngblut scored so much, "CC" stands for "Can't Contain".

Where's our headline saying that we lost to the Missouri on a last second shot?

If the trucks were able to beat them in anything other than teh hockey, they must play somewhere under even NAIA, so my guess is community college.

Corpus Christi. Their men's team made the tournament and gave some team a scare (Wisconsin?).

the Forum ran a similar headline recently saying UND beat "Southern Illinois".... the failed to mention it was SIU-Edwardsville

Let's see . . .

Texas A&M - CC
Texas A&M
Texas

The forum had some tough choices. I would have gone with just "Texas" for the biggest headline yet.

Noted that the other night, the suzies had a Pack-the-Gym night for men's bb game. They got a whole 2,700 for the game--who can argue with a turnout like that.

2,700 is about our average for any random conference home game. "Packing the gym" would mean like 4,500-5,000 for us, I suppose. So yeah, it must suck for und basketball. :D

Here is another one from the afternoon of the 17th on the Forum's Website: "UND lawmakers seek two-year tuition freeze". http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/305294/group/homepage/ Wonder why they didn't write "Grand Forks lawmakers".

Thats simple. Everything in grand forks revolves around und.

What does that mean "two demo lawmakers that represent und"? Does it mean that they represent the area that is occupied by und or are they specially assigned to represent the university. If so, does NDSU have people that represent them?

No, it means the misinForm'em doesn't have a clue or attempts to put "UND" in any headline it can. There are legislative districts that encompass geographically both UND and NDSU, but not just the campuses themselves.

I admit I been away from ND for a long time but I've never seen or heard of a lawmaker labeled as a NDSU lawmaker. Maybe we need to get a few of them.
