Northern Illinois-new coach

Northern Illinois has hired Wisconsin Def. Coordinator Dave Doeren. NIU was the team that approached Bohl but then decided on Jerry Kill. The connection between NIU and Bohl worried me but I guess that is now out of the picture.

I bet the Gopher Fans are PO'd over this hire as they wanted a high end coordinator to come instead of Kill.

They aren't happy thats for sure!! Gave him a pretty good ovation at the Gopher bball game last saturday during the blizzard we had here...I think he will be just fine...

I really think Kill will do just fine there, once the product on the field starts to turn around they will quickly forget they were promised a big name coach.
