It was a marquee season for a variety of reasons; a resurgent defense that resurrected the idea of "Bison Pride," a dynamic new running back that carried the torch for the likes of Pat Paschall and Tyler Roehl, a record that vastly differed from the 3-8 mark of the year before. It made the 2010 football season so memorable and so enjoyable.
That season, however, came to an end when a ruled fumble cost NDSU possession of the football in overtime.
