Looks like good news. The stadium is setup just like the Jackrabbits. There are 2 sides. The main side is the home grandstand and the smaller side is for visitors. Should be easy for the Bison fans to gather on one side.

CHARTER FLIGHT: One day trip.. http://www.creativecharter.com/
Price- $529 each includes transportation and a Bison hat.

How many will be making the trip? I think they only had 4k fans so if we can get a good crowd we can have an impact. 1,000 may be tough but if they only have 4k that would be a big deal. I was watching the MSU game again and you could hear" Let's go Bison" chants at the end of the game. Even heard a Jose chant. But when the cats had the ball at the 1, the players were signaling to be quiet. Not sure they realized those were Bison fans who made some serious noise! Very cool!

SATURDAY- 2:30 CST
Weather: in the 30s all week with a 30% chance of rain or snow. Cue to thunder.

So MSU fans must be pretty dumb if they cheer when their team is on offense. You don't think its a good thing to have 25% of the crowd? You would disagree with anything.

No, it wouldn't. We averaged around 7400 during the regular season. Not great, but we should draw a better crowd this weekend than we did for the SEMO game. The Apple Cup, which is the biggest college game of the year in the State of Washington, was going on an hour down the road in Pullman, so many folks were either at that game or sitting home and watching it. Also, the cold has probably kept a lot of folks at home.

Hopefully we'll get a nice crowd this weekend and I imagine they will be a nice contingent of NDSU folks out there.

It's strange the last time you guys had a home playoff game vs Sam Houston you almost drew 8K fans. I would imagine the turnout would be much better. Sounds like last week was sort of a fluke.

OK. I haven't stomped any bleachers since I used to sit in the student section at Dacotah Field. I guess I'll just buy the best available seats somewhere near midfield.

I thought the sight lines at MSU were terrible. When we were standing, I couldn't even see some of the MSU sideline across the field.

Great point, I have been considering giving up our corporate donation to teammakers based on PL's insight that fans have no bearing...I was just going to watch and cheer @ BWW, but now I am just confused!

Why do the player always pay tribute to the fans, why when they win on the road do they come salute the fans .... hmmmm what what do we do?

Travel to these games. I have a good 4 years of eligibility left. I hear Heckler has even more. You never know when the coach might point to the stands and say, "Suit up, son. You're needed on the field." Maybe that's what inspires Road to continue travelling - he's the coaches' secret weapon... an ace in the hole, if you will.

Suit up, son.

You're needed on the field.

*OTOH, CAS, PL, et al., need not even show up. If there's a sellout, one of them may potentially be taking up space in the stands that could otherwise have gone to a true gridiron hero who can be of real help:D

Now that we all know where we're sitting, where is everyone meeting before the game? I understand tailgating can be difficult without grills, beer coolers, chairs, and whatever else comes in handy for tailgating, but is there anything planned at this point?

Here's one idea: Pass the hat for something cheap (grill, that is), yet big enough to do some damage. Don't say "can't". There's always a way through to make it worthwhile. Donate it to a good home on the way out...

I think we may have 500+ Bison tickets sold. Maybe as high as 600. There are 40 seats in a row and in section 1 were in row 14 right now. 13 x 40 is 520 tickets plus section 2 row 1 is gone. If we can get a good 700 fans to travel half way across the country in the middle of the winter with less than a weeks notice... that is impressive! Anyone else going who hasn't bought tickets yet?

Sections O2, P, and Q still have seats in the first couple of rows. It could be that the allotment of 500 tickets that are provided to the visiting school are all in section O1. If there are 40 seats in each section, that would take up 12.5 rows in one section.

if you go to page 14 of eastern wash trip thread I posted a pic of the bleachers. I am usin my phone ow so I can't repost it, but if someone could it would answer a lot of the questions. The allotment of seats looks like it is half of 01 and half 02.

as far as tickets sold, I wouldn't be surprised if it was 600. Not that I think there will be that many fans. I know I bought a group of seats and might be the only one for all 4.

I think people are underestimating the power of the west coast bison. I went to the usc ndsu bball game and I heard from numerous people that there were more bison fans that game then to support loyola and ucsb the previous week.
