With the success and turn around this team has had, will this be the year that Bohl get's snatched up by a BCS team?

I would say no, but Minnesota is getting desperate and nothing would surprise me.

Good players can make an average coach look amazing.

That's the only program I could see coming after him, but I don't think the AD is smart enough for that. (Even with Bohl's up-and-down track record, he'd be a better fit for the goofs than most of the guys they'll consider.)

FCS coaches rarely go to BCS, they normally stop at a lower FBS first. I can't put my name on a IAA team that went BCS in the past 10 years. Not saying there aren't any, I just don't know their names.

That is true but remember the Gophers hired Tim Brewster.

Their AD did say they weren't going to take an NFL coach this time around, I think. Of course, Colorado has decided to ignore the goofers' mistake and appears to be headed toward hiring an NFL TE coach as HC.

Jim Tressel did it but he coached 15 years at Youngstown State and won 4 national championships and coached in 2 others. I could see a school like Minnesota going for a successful FCS coach and he does have some regional appeal in the Twin Cities.

He knows how to recruit MN and WI better than most who will be considered, I would imagine.

bohl isnt going any where how quickly everyone forgets we were 3 and 8 last year... the players turned the team around more so than bohl... but still he is a good coach I didnt want to see him fired after the 3 and 8 season

No chance. One more win and he could run for gov.
