Update me on what has happened.
I know the scores of the games and those sort of things, but what about the insights? What did we learn about this team? What should I expect?

We learned that they are probably better than we are, but they arent a phenominal team. If you look at most of there games, they won by the skin of there teeth.
However, looks like the team knows how to win.
Sat, Oct 2 @Sacramento State W64-61 OT 4-1 (2-0)
Sat, Oct 9 vsPortland State W44-31 5-1 (3-0)
Sat, Oct 16 @Northern Arizona L34-7 5-2 (3-1)
Sat, Oct 23 vsNorthern Colorado W37-35 6-2 (4-1)
Sat, Oct 30 @Idaho State W23-20 OT 7-2 (5-1)
(all of these scores are very strange, though nau was pretty good)
Some pretty bad teams scored quite a few points on MSU. I wouldnt count us out until the final whistle blows.

The Bison have had an up and down season but they may be ready to put their most complete game together. Going into this game, they are less effected by injuries than during most of the season. The Cats are the favored team but the Bison have a real decent chance. You're a long ways away. What gives? You on vacation?

In a somewhat nice turn of events, more Bisonville posters have been arrested than FB players this season.
Way to take one for the team, BV! :p

Right now? About 12F. Bit windy, though. It's nice to be indoors - I spent the entire month of November in a tent on the Friis Hills.

It's colder here in Bemidji! I suppose it is almost summer for you folks, though! ;)

Weather took a turn for the worse down here - we can't even get any planes off to New Zealand. Looks like I'm stuck trying to use the limited bandwidth to follow the game.
I'll be there in spirit, at least.

This is his last field season. He's going into semi-retirement after this year, which is a shame for the entire university. One of the best teachers we have here.

Depending on weather, I should be there from December 20th to December 27th.
The game will air at 8am Sunday morning here, so I'll need to be up for it. It won't be on tv (we only have 4 channels) so I'll have to watch the webcast. Still excited for it, though.
