View Full Version : What if our name is called?
So what if we make the playoffs? Do the coaches switch things up and pull out all the tricks?

switch to the wildcat and all of a sudden have an offense that can score once, maybe twice. :hide:
wishful thinking

I sure wish they did. I hate to say it but I think we would be a one and done team...

perhaps when we were down by 3 points with the playoffs on the line might have been a good time to pull them out?

Pull the redshirt and hope for a miracle, but our name won't get called.

Our* ;)
If you ask me all bets are off if we get a home playoff game. Dome atmosphere with our defense, we just need SOME KIND OF PRODUCTION from the offense.
Smile and play the role of the underdog with nothing to lose. Recipe for success hopefully.

It isn't like we haven't played with this crappy offense all year long! I mean it was 6 to 3 W over Kansas. Offense has sucked all year and we still found a way to win 7 games. The D and special teams (punt block) won a majority of those games for us. Why couldn't we found a way to win some in the playoffs with that method again? I guess I don't feel as hopeless as some of you.

Don't worry, our name won't be called. I'll be sleeping in, text me when we are announced, I'm on MT.

You could also say this team was a few plays away from 10-1. A blocked punt against WIU. A fumble or two against ISU-R. Somehow finding a way to get in the end zone today might have been more than a few plays, but you should be able to see what I'm saying. This team will definitely not go down as one of the best at the history of NDSU, BUT a few plays different and who knows.

I have seen enough tricks this season, can we put them all away and play fundamental football?
