We should just keep getting better and better this year. I think Coleman and Aaberg should help defensively.

This is the problem they have to figure out. How to get over the hump and beat these teams late in the game. We always seem to have trouble closing out in close games.

Turnovers, forced shots, missed shots, and then the other team hitting the shots they need to win the game and we can't.

It's just a matter of stepping up and it's just something that you need to get a feel for. Find a way to come out on top in a couple of close games and it starts to become a little more natural, then knowing what to do in late game situations, and actually being able to make the plays they need to in order to come out on top.

But as for overall, turnovers and defense are obviously the biggest issues, but this is game one. Those things will get better as the season goes on. If we play teams this tough night in and night out we'll be very competitive in the league this year.

This loss blows, but this is going to be a hell of a ride this season. Bring on the Gauchos (I think I had some gauchos with extra guacamole at Paradiso last night)!

There is a lot to like in this game, Bjorklund and Tveidt taking over. Lots to clean up as well. That said it is a marathon and the finish is everything, this team will make some strides and be a team to watch out for in SF.

Who do you all think will/should be taking the last second shot for us this year? I try to be objective. Does that person take the ball out under the hoop at the end of the game?? To me, that takes them out of the play. Thoughts?

Tveidt or Zastrow, I'd try to get either a look every time at the end of games.

Heartbreaking loss. Bjorklund is a monster! Is he really a freshman? Too many turnovers and too many Oregon offensive rebounds. I think we'll show vast improvement in the next 3-4 games.

Really good game. Very bummed by the loss but was really happy to see them play. TB is the real deal. He looked really well developed for a freshman early in the year. He has presence on the court. Hopefully, they really develop him. Looks to me like the sky's the limit. MT played like a beast. In the second half, the Ducks couldn't answer Tveidt and the Bison couldn't answer Catron.

Wow, that's a tough loss but man did some of the guys look good. Tveidt was absolute icewater in the last few minutes. Talk about some clutch threes (and a clutch 3 + 1). Really took over the game.

Marshall Bjorklund, ladies and gentlemen. Double-double in his first collegiate game against a PAC-10 team. Holy smokes did we get a steal from Minnesota.

Braun tried to force a lot, had some good plays but you could just tell he wanted to be a hero in his home state. Can't say I blame him but boy....some sketchy calls by the part of the freshman.

Zastrow could very well evolve into the leader we'll need at the point. Lundberg daggered a few as well, his speed on the perimeter will be valuable. Felt drained some nice 3's as well. We're going to be dangerous with Freddy back.

Nagel looked solid, needs to work on his FT shooting. Carlson looked good as usual.

Gotta say I like how our team spread the scoring out. Zastrow brings in 12 off the bench, he's going to be that shot of offense when we need it. Good stuff. Tveidt with 27, Bjorklund's line, we're going to be solid once our team's really gelling.

I like what I saw tonight, except for the final score. :(
