With the way our defense is playing I have great feeling. First time I can say that vs SDSU in a few years.

Just need to take care of the ball and stop shooting ourselves in the foot on offense.

According to the current standings NDSU would be the first team out!! Looks like we have some work to do and clearly cannot lose another game.
Projected conference Champions in bold. Then go down the list for the 10 at-large births.
This poll doesn't guarantee which teams are in or out of the playoffs, but it is the leading indicator and will be very close.

Looking at it that way, we could use a Montana loss this weekend to the wioux. :hide: Nevermind, I still can't cheer for them. GO GRIZ!!

Sac St can't reach 7 DI wins, so we are actually the last team in.

For that matter SDSU, JMU and NAU also ranked below us can't reach 7 DI wins either.

There won't be 5 CAA teams unless teams lay down for each other, but in the end the story is the same. If we don't win out we shoot ourselves in the foot.

A key stat was said on another thread...although I know stats don't normally come into play for a rivalry game...but SDSU is 1-4 on the road this year. With a team that has one win in Fargo in the past 40 or so years, that doesn't bode well for them. Let's show up and remind them how hard it really is to win here!!

Keep in mind 3 of those 4 road losses were to Delaware, Nebraska, and Northern Iowa. We beat Southern Illinois and lost to Indiana State.

So the record ain't great, but it was a very tough road schedule.

Made a couple quick changes. I'm chearing for New Hampshire this weekend to beat Nova, and then Delaware next weekend to beat Nova. And then Towson to beat New Hampshire. That eliminates 2 CAA teams.

How much would the world implode if the MVFC, and BSC got 3 teams in and so did the CAA?

I think you're reaching. By the same token, you could say that no one on the NDSU roster has ever beaten the Jacks, also.

And Umass doesn't have an easy road either...after delaware they play at RI who has been tough at home this year.

I guess getting rid of the trash in the CAA isn't helping at all is it? I wonder how much they miss Northeastern and Hofstra this year.

This may get them to go after Youngstown State and another school right away.

It does show how much of an advantage they did have with the 2 division set up in previous years. Playing everybody has a way of bringing the records in the conference back to normal compared to other conferences. Imagine what the MV records would look like if you didn't have to play SIU and Northern Iowa every year. Hmm, I wonder.........
