View Full Version : What we know abou the freshman class

We all heard a lot of hype about the freshmen class before the year. Now we've seen a lot of them play and I am excited about when these guys are seniors.

DL: Perry, Jirik, Drevlow
LB: Olson, Carter
DB: Williams, Heagle
KR/PR: Smith
OL: Turner, Heinz
QB: Jensen
FB: Grothman
TB: Sigers, (possibly Ojuri)

I know there are some other guys we haven't seen play yet that may be great as well, but there are 14 guys right there that make up an excellent class already. And they have 3 more years to improve. It's not hype any more. These guys are good and we've already seen it!

(Did I miss any others that have been playing as freshmen?)

It's absolutely nuts to see two true freshmen play on the O line with Lund out. I can't say I expected that, and I had REALLY high hopes.

A coach stated that Ojuri may be the best football player on the team. Along with Crockett the future looks very bright for the RB position

Is he still here? Is going to be able to get back to the football team?

We recruited about 57 linebackers in the class of 10. Olson and Carter have stepped up already. We're probably going to need 1 or 2 of Beck, Littlejohn, and Emanuel to provide some depth next year.

He is still enrolled at NDSU. It's up to him if he will be able to play ball next season. Gotta give him credit for staying here and in school though.
