I don't think that would happen...Both teams will bid too much for a home playoff game in the first round, so they will host different opponents.

If we do play Montana, we would beat them. Montana is in the hurt bag and I actually doubt if they can make the playoffs.

Probably like this coming Saturday. The second day of deer hunging? Plus, after Thanksgiving and the thousand or so faithful students home for the holiday? Uffda! Might not be a good crowd but would be a GREAT victory!!

So you're saying if we hosted a playoff game for the first time in 20 years, we'd see a crowd similar to the SIU game? I am pretty sure it would be much, much bigger if it happened.

The only way we get into the playoffs is if we win the remaining three games. With an 8-3 record, I would think we'd get a bye in the first round. We would only need to be in the top 12 for that to occur.

Anyway, those three wins are not going to be easy to get.

Yep. Let's get the wins first but we have a good shot! ! Step 1: Beat SIU! We can do this.

I agree we'll likely go 2-1 or possible 1-2. We could lose out and go 0-3. At the same time we could go 3-0.

kinda sucks for me being a student but I don't think there are free student tickets for playoff games which means GA for those spots... I am not sure if thats a good or bad thing? If the students come and actually cheer they help out a ton, if they leave early I rather just have public sitting there.

I am planning on going to my parents for Thanksgiving but if the Bison were to make the playoffs and it was a home game mom would just have to understand that I would not be home. I have not been able to attend any games for the last two years. No way in he!! I would miss a home playoff game.

Did anyone think about ties?

The rule book allows for ending games if both teams agree it is in the interest of the safety of the players (e.g. lightning).

Two of the last three games are at home. But I've heard there's a 100% chance of thunder.

Planned our Texas trip around the possibility of getting a playoff game - home or away. Hopefully it works out.

Dude our QB is Jose Mohler. I think it will be a miracle if we get in with the QB play. not ripping on the guy, just honest here-to small and not that effective. I liked where Jensen was headed, and either he or Thorton will be the guy next year.

Now if this team toughens up and actually goes into Missoula, or anywhere, with a four game win streak, I reserve the right for my opinion to change.

7-4 might do. The FCS is REAL down this year. But that said, 8-3 is obviously the safer bet.

Not so fast, slick Willie, and I am not getting ahead of myself here, cuz we haven't even made the PO's yet. If we were to, or when we do, the one thing I can tell you is that, despite not being overly physical this year, we still may very well be more physical then those teams, even this year, not to mention in the ones to come---now, think Central Michigan.

We would not host Montana. No way would we outbid them. No way. Absolutely no way. Oh I would want us to, but it would not happen. We have a better chance of Lakes growing up and becoming an adult than outbidding Montana. Wait a second...scratch that. Maybe there is a chance!:D
