WHAT IF we can figure out how we played defense the first game of the year against Kansas or against Morgan State or USD? Plus what if we can move the ball like we did against Youngstown AND throw deep like we did against the Yotes? We would have a really good team. For the life of me I can't figure out why we can't put together 3 or 4 quarters of football. If we do than look out. Until then its just wasted talent.

Go back and look at those teams, their offense's have not done anything this year, and usually are not the best at the beginning of the year. Sometimes its about who you play.

USD seemed to have no troubles with offense rolling into the NDSU game.

I agree. Don't know what it is. Some say we have less talent than others. Some say that we are young. My take is inconsistency in quality coaching more than anything. We do not have a DI staff from top to bottom...IMO. Or let's say...the kind of staff that would make us dominant.

This is very important. Experience goes a long way in close games. That along with the fact that we have a qb that can make one decent throw a game and have the receiver bobble it and drop it is a sure fire way to not play to your potential. The coaching isn't the problem, the execution is.
