No thanks. Life is good. No use being contentious. Life is better when people are happy. :D

Prelvitz has done a great job. Has Drago been working with Prelvitz?

If your punting a lot, means our off sucks.

We have punted the same number of times as our opponents this season so far.

Guys, please note these are average numbers. You take the total number of yards and divide it by attempts. It is that simple. There is no way you can firmly equate Prelvitz excellent punting to the offense "sucking." Two completely seperate issues.

Lakes, I thought you told DB that you graduated?

Yeah funny.......just read the context how used in the sentence in my post......his user name should be......
OK now that we cleared that up:
Prelvitz has done a great job punting. Too bad the rest of the team and
coaches do not follow his example and improve their game performance a bit.

Prelvitz is also healthy this year after having a hairline fracture in his back last year. He even said he couldn't bend his back or extend his leg fully on the follow through when punting, I don't recall if this was in the Forum or BI.

I heard Prelvitz had back issues last season

wow this is just great. Not long ago we were accustomed to the 10 yard shankers. What a turn around Prelvitz has made.

JP19 has been doing great this year. You have to expect that from football players from northwest Minnesota.

Another big punting game difference is having Ryan Smith back there not letting the ball roll for another 15 yards like Shamen Washington used to do his final year.

Oh yeah, a big improvement compared to last year, he has really matured this season as a great punter.

I just hope he is not going to be considered seriously for team MVP at the end of the year--YIKES!!

.....as opposed to say just passing it directly to the opposing defense & saving the punter's leg..... like the past couple seasons.... :hide:

I believe John also holds for field goals and EPT's (Laces out!) so he had a TON to do with the Kansas win :). John is a class act outside of football as well. We are very fortunate to have him as a Bison! ;)

Or maybe it's because he's not dead hurt this year...?

Could well be. I thought the punt team did a better job in 2008 (Prelvitz's first year) than they did in 2007 (Drago's last year) - and the punt team was outstanding in 2007.

The comparison between 2007 and 2008:
