You guys will have the privilege of listening to our infamous tv play-by-play voice Chad Krispinsky... Here is a preview of what you will see if you buy the video feed: http://www.myvalleysports.com/mediacenter/local.aspx?videoId=16392@wytv.web.entriq.net&navCatId=149

He can't be as bad as UNI's play-by-play guy. The guy would literally shoot his load every time UNI did something good in their game against us.

If you live in the Fargo-Moorhead TV market and get KXJB.

So, I'm confused (not the first time & won't be the last), is the game televised or is just through a feed? If the latter, where can I watch it in Fargo, preferable somewhere that sells ethyl alcohol containing beverages??

It is local on KXJB, channel 4 so I am sure any bar could be showing the game.

Two ways to get the game live on TV:

1. Live in the Fargo viewing area and watch it on KXJB(ch 4)
2. Find someplace with an FTA* dish and get the coordinates from NDSU. (I'm assuming this will work; they've got to get the feed to Fargo somehow.)

1.5 ways to get the game live on the web:

1. Go to http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/ysu.portal# and pay $9.95.
0.5. Hope that someone streams the feed onto channelsurfing.net

*Free-To-Air dish. Smaller version of the old giant satellite dishes. Some sports bars have them.

ok. Stupid question time. I had a buddy who used "steal" satellite tv with just a Dish 500. There was an FTA website that used to publish the codes for the dish software and he could get literally thousands of channels. It sounds like DishNetwork finally figured out how to shut that down. But my question is can you still get the coordinates for something like this with a Dish 500 satellite?

Not this guy. This guy bought the sport sync radio for just this ocasion. Watch it on the web but listen still listen to the voice of the Bison, Scotty Miller, in perfect harmony. Used it during the UNI game and it was a thing of Beauty...too bad the game wasn't.

How does that work and where can I find details?

Never mind, found it.

Its doesn't work for me, as I don't get local radio station coverage here in Bemidji. Cool concept, however.

Sadly, many bars have gotten rid of them as they are largely outdated in the day and age of DirectTV dominating the bar market and having nearly any game of note available. Can't find a single one left in Sioux Falls; they all got rid of them.

Does the old Tailgaters in Tea (not sure what it is called now) have the old Satelite equip still? I used to set up the NDSU - UND football game Alumni and fan gathering for Sioux Falls area. Of course that was nearly 10 year ago the last time I did it, but that bar had the set up. I went there a fews years later for some games, but haven't stopped there for about 5 years. Worth checking into.......

SDB: Drive to Fargo to watch the game then, and, as you go by Brookings, say to yourself, "the best thing about Brookings is seeing it in your rearview mirror on way to Fargo". BTW, where are BV peeps going to wathin game in Fargo?
