Interesting thread and observations.

SD was really the first to push hard for Brock on this board while backing his choice with his normal no holds barred approach.

And yeah, I can see TAB in charge of Vice. We could have used just a bit more vice during tailgating.

Long way back, but the game was definately worth the trip. Lotta good aspects to the game. Lotta work still needed. But improvement was shown.

I like the fact that he is bigger and stronger than Jose. Jose was frankly, bad against UNI and Kansas.

Of course I am the the original, THE #1 big time supporter of Brock Jensen on this messageboard. Actually had Brock's dad look me up at the first game at Iowa State last year. Both Brock and his dad are great people. I was not surprised at how well Brock did in his first college game. I believe he has a really big upside too as he is only a redshirt freshman. Go Brock! Brock looked up and down and had some great/bad throws. I think the most encouraging thing about him is he makes some big plays. When he gets more acclimated and becomes consistent, the big plays will only get better.

I've agreed with SDBison from the start, and really hope he gets the start. He has so much growth potential and it showed in his first game.

Jose wouldnt be losing his job because he was injured. If he loses his job it will be because the team responed and performed better under his direction.
