Brock has a huge arm!!!!! His pass completion % wasn't that great because he overthrew most of his receivers. HE HAS A HUGE ARM. He has to work on accuracy.

Did anyone else notice, it looked like the receivers either ran their routes slow or gave up on them early. Its almost like they are use to Mohler under-throwing them, or at least not expecting the QB to be able to hurl the ball that far downfield.

I think we will see some big passes next week from Brock. The WR better run their routes to the whistle next week...

Yes, the Wr's definitely didnt' finish their routes.

Brock will be fine, this was his first action. He will settle down and be a stud for us..

I listened on the radio. I would agree he has the arm.

I'm not going to throw Jose under the bus, but I really like the way Jensen stands tall, and when protection breaks down he steps up. Mohler seems to want to turn tail and run the other direction too soon, IMHO...

Oops, posted this in the wrong "Jensen" thread, but I agree wholeheartedly. Strong arm and I think his accuracy will do nothing but improve with a little more game experience...

Jensen did well tonight. Not only does he have a great arm, but he IS quite mobile as well. He had a nice run on the QB draw tonight.

He's a BIG GUY too!! He's not going to go down as easy as Jose.

If he brings leadership then he is the whole package.

When the pocket collapses, Mohler is too short and can't see down field. That is why he never throws to the tight end running up the seam. Lets look at the play where Jensen threw a pass to Mcnorten in the flat that went for a touchdown. Brock had a guy in his face, so he threw over him. IMHO Mohler has to juke that defender then scramble and try to make something out of nothing. Brock is the best QB for our style of offense, Mohler would make a really nice spread offense QB. I cant wait to see what Brock can do with a week of snaps with the #1 offense.

I went to the spring game and walked away from that thinking that Brock was our man. I hope he gets the start this weekend. He's tall to see the field, has a good arm and his overall size is certainly an advantage. We have to make a QB change ASAP this year, we can't afford to wait it out and "look" for improvement ever again, to painful. It's like this; :banghead:
