Seriously the MWC may as well re-invite Utah State and take the WAC out of its misery. At least that move would recoup some of what the league loses in its Utah presence and bring back a solid basketball school.

Fans of second-rate MWC teams (which is all of them now) sure don't like the Cougs.

I understand ADs being pissed, but they have ZERO moral high ground as they destroyed the WAC.

Football is only 1 piece of the athletic department. How has BYU improved its overall profile by joining the WCC? That's a bus league with a low profile for all other sports compared to the MWC.

I guess it's all about football, and I understand the the contract with ESPN. But if BYU is trying to stick it to Utah and the MWC by joining the WCC, strike one on BYU.

Also, who is going to volunteer to play BYU in football besides the Sunbelt, MAC, WAC, CUSA, Notre DAme or FCS. Is the Big 10, Big XII, PAC 12, SEC, MWC or ACC going to play them? I sure wouldn't if I were these Conferences. Why help BYU become a national power.
