I should go as I worked at Deere for a few years in the early 80's, still have some friends there that are Bisons, Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cylclones (note - nobody I met when I lived there for 4 years were huge Panther football fans except for wrestling fan types).

Just trying to save a few bucks. 6 home games at 500 mile round trip, plus the Kansas game. I need a cheaper option to bother going to UNI. I am not a rich retired guy like some people I know........:D

I'll be there. My wife's best friend decided to marry Labor Day weekend, so no Kansas game for me, unfortunately. However, because of this I get a kitchen pass the next weekend, so lots of golf, tailgating and football.

We should be bringing around 6, with some Bison alums from Iowa and a couple of us heading down from the Dakota's.

Yep, UNI is just down the road from Rochester, MN. Add about 3 hours to your drive time and that is how long it will take me. I would be coming alone so I need someone to share costs.
NOTE: My wife and I are hosting 4 Bisonvillers, friends and family at our home near Sioux Falls on the Thursday before the Kansas game, and 13 more on Friday before the Kansas game. Should be a great time!
